You are welcome to visit us every day we’re open! Belfast Soup Kitchen serves the community Monday-Friday, 10am-1pm excluding holidays.
Join us for a friendly coffee hour starting at 10am, and enjoy a freshly prepared dine-in meal at 11am.
Takeout is available 10:30am-1pm.
Our meals are completely free of charge, although donations are always appreciated. Your generosity helps us continue serving the community, and every contribution makes an impact.
There are no eligibility requirements - everyone is welcome!
We’re here to provide food to anyone in need, with no questions asked.
If you’re short on time, we’re happy to provide you with a meal to-go. Just stop by and see one of our friendly volunteers! We offer to-go meals from 10:30am-1pm Monday-Friday.

We offer meals to go for those who can’t dine in with us. We also offer a weekly meal delivery program for homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities - Just let us know how we can help!

The Kindness Community Market is a grocery store-style food pantry open to everyone.
To shop, guests simply need to register and complete a Good Shepherd Food Bank TEFAP form.
Once registered, guests can select from a variety of meats, bread, fresh produce, dairy, bakery goods, deli items, and shelf-stable items. Shopping is available once per week, with the amount of options based on household size and the recommended MYPLATE guidelines.
The Kindness Community Market is open Monday-Thursday, 10am-6pm and Friday 10am-3pm.
Yes! We gratefully accept donations to help us continue serving our community! Our donation hours are 8am-2:30pm Monday-Friday.
Please do not leave donations outside or unattended. If you cannot make it to us during our donation hours, please call 207-338-4845 option 3 to make alternate arrangements.
We accept donations of unopened, non-expired products. Products must be free from rust and damage. We also accept donations of eggs and homegrown produce!
