Financial Report

Financial Contributions

Your support is essential to the mission of the Belfast Soup Kitchen. We are proud to be funded primarily by community support, individual donations, and grants. This ensures that 100% of your financial contributions go directly toward providing essential, immediate services to our guests.
Your generosity helps us provide fresh, nutritious meals and a welcoming space to your neighbors in need. Your support keeps our kitchen stocked and our doors open, ensuring no one in our community goes hungry.

Whether it’s a one-time gift or a monthly contribution, every dollar brings hope, dignity, and a hot meal to those who need it most.

You can make a one-time gift or become a Sustainer of Hope and join our monthly giving program. Just select “monthly” option when you donate on our secure website.

Dedicate Your Gift

To arrange a notification for the honoree or family, please contact our Executive Director or call 207-338-4845, option 2.

Amplify your Financial Impact

We know every supporter has unique preferences, so we offer flexible options for individuals, businesses, and and organizations. In addition to one-time or recurring gifts, we gratefully accept donations of stock, securities, and appreciated assets (such as Donor-Advised Funds/DAFs) and more!

For details on making these special contributions, please contact our Executive Director.

Making a Difference in Our Community

The Belfast Soup Kitchen stands as a vital lifeline for many residents across Waldo County who face food insecurity. In our rural community, where transportation challenges and economic hardships create barriers to consistent, nutritious meals,  the Belfast Soup Kitchen serves as more than just a place to eat, we're a cornerstone of community support.

Why Your Support Matters

Your Donations Create Change
Every contribution to the Belfast Soup Kitchen goes to providing direct services, and every dollar donated creates ripples of positive change. You are providing so much more than a meal, it's hope for our community.
